The Reed Graduate Training Scheme is a three year programme open to graduates who are keen to forge a successful career in the recruitment, HR, and Welfare to Work industries.
It is based around three one-year placements that give you the opportunity to explore a number of different career paths across Reed's diverse businesses.
Along the way you will receive plenty of support that will allow you develop your existing skills and ensure you meet your potential. Central to this is the opportunity to study towards a professional qualification, something Reed will sponsor you towards.
Most large organisations have a graduate scheme of some sort, and they almost all make similar promises in order to attract the best graduates to apply. So what makes the Reed Graduate Training Scheme (GTS) different from the other available opportunities?
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the aim of the GTS is to develop talented managers and leaders to ensure the long-term success of the business. In return we like to think we offer ambitious individuals the opportunity to realise their potential in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Where Reed is different to many other graduate recruiters, however, is that we have a number of examples that illustrate that the scheme works!
It is now almost 15 years since Reed took on their first Graduate Trainee, and already the scheme has produced a number of senior managers across the business including:
• Chris Melvin - Chief Executive, Reed in Partnership
• Tom Lovell - Managing Director, Reed Specialist
• Dan Ferrandino - Managing Director, Reed Consulting
• Martin Warnes - Managing Director, Reed Online
• Richard Frodin - Chief Operating Officer, Reed International
